FredBioSystems ("we", "us", "our") respects your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect through this website and how it is used.

What We Collect

Through the project enquiry form we collect the details you enter: your name, business or organisation (optional), email address, country, the service you need, your project description, and optionally a budget and timeline. The Academy registration and Lab Intelligence Suite inquiry forms collect the details you enter, such as name, contact details and organisation. The newsletter form collects your email address.

How We Use It

We use your information to respond to your enquiry, provide the service or resource you requested, and, where you have opted in, send occasional updates about books, training and projects. We do not sell your personal data.

Website Hosting and Third-Party Services

Our website is hosted by a third-party hosting provider (currently Netlify). We may also use external services to support website forms, communication, currency conversion and access to our published resources. Where these services process personal information, that information may be handled in accordance with the relevant provider's privacy practices.

How Forms Are Handled

The project enquiry form and the newsletter form are processed through our hosting provider's form service and delivered to us. The Academy registration and Lab Intelligence Suite inquiry forms do not send data to a server; they prepare a WhatsApp message with the details you entered, which is only sent if you choose to send it. The Website Brief page also offers a "Send via WhatsApp" option that works the same way. WhatsApp and email messages are handled by those providers under their own terms.

Browser Storage

This site stores a few items in your browser: your language and currency choice, and your FredAI chat history and related display flags. These stay on your device and you can remove them by clearing this site's data in your browser. FredAI is a scripted assistant on this site; it does not send your messages to an external AI service.

Other Websites

The currency selector requests exchange rates from an external rates service, so your browser contacts that service. Books are purchased on an external online store (Selar), and Lab Intelligence Suite sign-up takes place on labintelligencesuite.com; those sites have their own privacy practices.

Your Rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data by emailing us at fredbiosystems@gmail.com.
